Link to group :) I have created a yahoo group for direct sales reps. This group is GREAT for getting the word of your business out there and generating sales! This group is for anyone in a direct sales company that would like to generate more sales and really get their business out there, while supporting other at home businesses. Each month a Consultant of the Month will be chosen, a hostess of the month will be chosen as well. The consultant of the month will receive an order from each member of the group and the Hostess of the month will receive ALL the hostess credits from that party! You do have the option to skip a month, if you choose to skip a month please email me and we will set it up. If you skip more then two months in a row you will be kicked out of the group. Also if you skip a month your turn to be consultant of the month will go down on the list and you will not be able to be hostess of the month for the month you skipped. There has been a few reps that joined and mentioned they saw the link posted on this site. 

I joined and then unsubscribed because I thought it was a local group. You know help out your local people but it wasn't. 

No it's not local...Most of the girls are associated with the military, mostly because I live on Camp Pendleton but it is open to everyone 

*shrugs* I personally don't like companies like that. Pyramid schemes. I love the women who sell the stuff, but I hate knowing that they are making someone else above them rich. Actually, they make like 5 people above them rich. Oh, the things that are wrong with those companies. They do empower women, which is great, but I also feel that they really use women. They hire more people than they know will be able to sell their product, and so many new hires end up stuck with tons of product they can't sell. It's said that less than 30% of hires will actually ever profit. The other 70% will end up selling their overstock on ebay for less than they paid. Sad. Okay, so mostly I hate Mary Kay. They are the worst. I'll get off my soap box now. 

I don't think they're pyramid schemes. I do believe that not all people are cut out for direct sales and some people put to much into their business then they are going to get out. It's all what you make it. I agree there are companies that would not be great to be a part of. I love my company and I like supporting other at home businesses.
